Bradley Cutlery to release new balisong! Second generation Kimura.

Those who know me know I’m a HUGE fan of the balisong (aka butterfly knife). As I’m writing this, I have my new Benchmade 51 clipped in my pocket. I picked up a Bradley Cutlery Kimura back when they first came out. They’ve since been discontinued. Bradley will hopefully soon be releasing the second generation Kimura II. It will be made by Kershaw for Bradley. The blades will be Sandvic 14C28N and the handles will be skeletonized 410 stainless steel. The spacers are different from the first Kimura, they are now barrel spacers. The latch is a traditional “t-latch” style as opposed to the spring latch seen on the Bradley Mayhem and many Benchmade balis. The Kimura II weighs in at 5.3 oz. The pivots will be blue Loctited. Anyone who has flipped a balisong with lose screws knows that’s important. Thomas W. from Kershaw said that 600 will be produced.

TL:DR – New balisong from Bradley made by Kershaw. Here’s pics, click for fullsize:
